It was another unseasonably warm afternoon across central and
eastern Kansas. Drier air behind a weak cold front prevailed along
with gusty northeast winds across much of central and northeast
Kansas. Late afternoon temperatures were in the mid to upper 80s. A rather unsettled weather pattern is expected across much of
mid-America tonight through Tuesday. The best chances for showers
and thunderstorms this evening and tonight will be across Iowa,
southern Missouri, southeast Kansas, northeast Oklahoma and
northwest Arkansas. The best chances for storms and severe weather
on Tuesday will be across northern Oklahoma, and from southern and
western Kansas into western Nebraska.

Low temperatures tonight will fall into the 50s and 60s with highs
on Tuesday generally in the 70s and 80s, except for warmer 90s in
southwest Kansas and far western Oklahoma.
